Debt Breaker is designed with your privacy as the top priority. The app works entirely on your device — no account is required, and your financial data never leaves your phone.
We collect nothing.
Debt Breaker does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All data you enter — your debts, balances, interest rates, and payment history — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's on-device storage framework (SwiftData). This data is never sent to any server.
The app optionally fetches currency exchange rates from the Frankfurter API (frankfurter.app), a free public service provided by the European Central Bank. These requests contain no personal information — only a request for exchange rate data, the same as visiting a public website.
Debt Breaker offers an optional premium subscription managed entirely by Apple. All payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see, receive, or store your payment information, credit card details, or billing address. Apple's privacy policy governs all purchase transactions: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
We do not use any analytics tools, tracking SDKs, or advertising frameworks. We do not track your behavior inside or outside the app. We do not share data with third parties.
Debt Breaker does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
Because all your data stays on your device, you are in full control. If you delete the app, all associated data is permanently deleted with it.
If we update this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
